Pastors' Wives Retreat at Warm Beach Bible Camp. This is for the wives of our full-time, actively serving pastors and youth pastors. Ruth Vallevik, CLB National Director of Women's Ministries, will facilitate the weekend. Invites with more information will be sent soon. Past Event

Pacific Region-North Ladies' Fall Retreat::
One-hundred eighteen women from our Pacific Region-North churches gathered from September 30-October 2, 2011, at Maple Park LBC in Lynnwood, WA for the annual fall retreat.
Grace unfolded, indeed, as we received wonderful teaching, shared missionary spotlights, worshiped in song, ate exceptionally well, and enjoyed one another's company from Friday night til Sunday morning. We enjoyed 'break out sessions' and free time activities, which included card-making, back massages, a craft room, artist demonstrations, prayertime, choir practice, a silent auction, and lots of joyful visiting! Many thanks to our gracious Maple Park hostesses; you truly blessed us all with your efforts!

Recent Event: Pastors' Wives Tea - July 1, 2011
The sunny skies on July 1, 2011 provided a beautiful backdrop for the Pacific-North pastors' wives, both active and retired, to connect with each other, and Director of Women's Ministries for the CLB, Ruth Vallevik. The newest Northwest pastors' wife, Amy Price, was welcomed warmly as well! Delicious blueberry scones, lemonade, and tea in china teacups gave a special ambiance to the occasion.
Women's Ministries Round-Table Discussion - July 2, 2011
The First Pacific Region-North Regional Meeting took place at Warm Beach Bible Camp July 2, 2011. One of the workshops presented was a Round-Table Discussion led by Ruth Vallevik. The fifteen participants shared various ideas for ministry from their own local groups. Ruth shared resources and ideas that she has gleaned as well, offering encouragement and practical advice to the group.

"Despite the chill in the air, we had a nice turnout for our annual dessert night! Hosted by the lovely ladies at Hope, we enjoyed one another's company, heard amazing stories of God's faithfulness from missionaries Janice and Steve Flude, and shared wonderful desserts.
Many thanks to Corky Hovind, our Women's Ministries Regional Vice-President, for her great organization of this event, and to Hope at Silver Lake for use of their facility, gracious hospitality, and the wonderful decor and desserts."

Our PNW Annual Fall Women's Retreat was enjoyed by 92 ladies who were blessed to receive sweet encouragements that we are Daughters of the King. One reminder after another reinforced the fact that we are precious to the Lord, and He loves the time we spend at His feet in worship and in serving others.
Many thanks to Chloe Koslowsky for flying up from CA to share with us! We experienced lovely times of worship, skits, and getting acquainted with one another. We were delighted to have so many 'younger' ladies join us; how lovely that age barriers break down when we're in the presence of our Heavenly Father! Thank you to our hostesses from Hope Church at Silver Lake; your gift of hospitality is always evident!

Thirty-eight women gathered on Saturday, April 24th for the PNW Leadership Training Conference, "Growing Stronger - Growing Deeper," sponsored by National WM. Our speakers, Ruth Vallevik, Janet Spencer and Ruth Christenson, shared about maturing in your faith, being rooted in truth, caring for new believers and being a servant leader.
The conference sessions were videotaped by Micah Nordtvedt, so your WM group will receive a dvd in the near future. Many thanks to Hope at Silver Lake in Everett for allowing us to utilize their facilities!

The ladies from the PNW gathered together for their Fall Retreat at the Lynnwood Embassy Suites from October 9-11, 2009. Many thanks to the women from Word of Life, Marysville, who hosted this fun weekend. Our speaker was Pam Sayre, a member of Word of Life, who spoke on the Four Gardens of the Bible; what a fantastic Bible teacher she is, and we so appreciated her real life examples and applications to the lessons. Rana Engelson led in worship.
