It was our annual meeting!
Saturday was a very enjoyable day. We had another session
with Perky and Carol continuing with their topic “Choices”. Other events in the
day were a Silent Auction with many wonderful items to bid on during our free
time. The proceeds from the action were donated to the Women’s Ministries
Projects. During free time we could do whatever we wished: reading, card
stamping, walks or a nap. Before the evening meal we had a scavenger hunt. Have
you ever seen about 25-30 women running around a large camp grounds looking for
clues!? We had a ball and the winners got to go first for supper! We ended the
day with another session and then had prayer, praise and popcorn and then to
bed (for those who wanted to sleep anyway!).
Sunday began with a brunch and followed with a praise and worship time. Then it was time to say good bye and head on home.
We had a wonderful time at Shepherd’s Hill at the Cross Roads. The service and meals were wonderful and the setting was perfect. It was very relaxing to be in a place that God created so beautiful for one to enjoy.
